The city is more than just a network of roads and buildings. It is a world filled with our own memories, narratives, dreams and aspirations.
From sites of nostalgia to the architectural icons of tomorrow, we build structures that are imbued with the stories of our lives—giving the cities we live in a life of our own.

"Building Blocks" at DP's 50th anniversary exhibtion.
A huge mixed-use complex in Singapore's Chinatown area and designed by Design Partnership in the 1970s.
1977 - 2016
A mixed-use public housing estate in Singapore located around the Sungei Road area.
A national landmark of Singapore, built in 1963 and demolished in 1986. Designed by Alfred Wong.
Built in 1932. I have only visited the historical Tanjong Pagar Railway Station once. It is a pity that the station probably won’t be used as a railway station anymore now. I could only imagine what would happen if Tanjong Pagar Railway Station became the terminal for the high speed rail to Malaysia.
My good friend Mu Yao grew up in Katong and he brought me to Koon Seng Road and I fell in love with the shophouses there. Hence, I drew this for his birthday and as a tribute to this charming part of Singapore
